Bathurst HumanKind Network

Bathurst HumanKind Network is a community‑rooted, volunteer‑powered nonprofit dedicated to preventing homelessness and housing loss across Bathurst and the surrounding rural and remote regions. We meet people where they are — in encampments, on back roads, in temporary shelters, and in isolated communities — providing mobile outreach, crisis support, and navigation to housing, healthcare, income, and essential services.

Our work is grounded in a Housing First philosophy and built on early intervention. We focus on the wrap‑around supports that make housing sustainable: access to healthcare, income stability, transportation, harm reduction, and strong community connection.

In areas where services are limited or nonexistent, we bring hope, safety, and life‑saving resources directly to those who need them most — especially during the harsh winter months when survival is at risk.

Together with our community, we are building a compassionate, barrier‑free network where everyone has the chance to be safe, supported, and housed.
